Quick request. I'm not sure who maintains the Cinnamon DE that is in the repositories but would it be possible to compile a newer version and upload? Version 5.6.7 is what's currently available and I'm using it. It works well. However, the latest revision is 6.2.7 so it is quite outdated. If not, I understand, but if so, thank you very much!

I see 6.2.7 is in Cauldron already.
Please open an update request for Mageia 9 in our Bugzilla and see what is the response.

there are some things to be aware of using the Cinnamon DE in Cauldron.
wayland support is experimental, so YMMV!
on x11, at least on my test partition, right click to invoke terminal, does nothing.
these issues are likely transferable to a Mga9 install of Cinnamon.
not yet ready for prime time, so I would suspect it will not be ported to Mga9. I am just a user, so my opinion is my opinion.

Also other desktops have problem running on Wayland...
How do the new Cinnamon run on Xorg in Cauldron?

Just install 'gnome-terminal' and this will fix the problem.

So maybe open a bug request to make gnome-terminal a dependency of task-cinnamon-minimal?
