will you ever switch to dnf as the default . if never then why ? why don't you create a parallel iso version with dnf as the default ? if this is not a good idea please read my suggestion why don't create a script that asks the user for the root password and then does the following steps automatically
1- updates the system
2-install dnf, dnf dragora , dnf update , configures repositories
3- removes urpm, urpmidrake , and urpmi updating app
4-asks you to restart the system
and when you login and open the control center , it is dnf dragora instead of drake and you have a complete dnf based system. Such script would be useful to non technical users who are afraid of tinkering with the system at such high level.. There should be also a page in mageia wiki dedicated to dnf usage commands.

Did you even check the wiki?
https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Using_DNF

And if you dig a little bit further in wiki and bugzilla, you will see that there are no intentions to move to DNF totally. As it is totally easy to use DNF in Mageia, no script is needed at all. The user is free to use whatever he wants. For both tools, a GUI is available...

You can use both package managers by default, no script necessary.

That argumentation doesn't make sense. Why would a non-technical user care what package manager is used under the hood ?

different orphan tracking

Also
when you login and open the control center , it is dnf dragora instead of drake and you have a complete dnf based system

I want dnf drgora in the control center instead of drake , and such script won't hurt .

A non-technical user doesn't even know what a orphan package is or what that means, and he also does not need to track those.

For the control center, the source code is available, feel free to add a shortcut to dnfdragora.
