Updating using mageia applet

I updated from Mageia 8 to Mageia 9 over 2757 packages just using the Mageia update applet. Everything seems to be fine. I'm just writing to report that at least one package was not updated: texstudio. After update, the texstudio desktop link turn out to launch kate instead. I manually installed texstudio post installation and now texstudio is OK.
Would it be that other packages may have been "forgotten" too?

Keep in in mind that the manually created link on your desktop is not part of the package.

Well, texstudio at Mageia 8 updates was texstudio-4.5.1-1.1.mga8, and at Mageia 9 is texstudio-4.5.1-1.mga9. Versions differ 4.5.1-1.1 to 4.5.1-1. Does this mean that at Mageia 8 I had a newer version?

1.1 is only a subrelease and the distsuffix (.mga9) is still greater in the comparison, so the mga9 version is "newer".
