Where have you downloaded Mageia 1 from? All I can find is the release candidate at the moment.

Not having so much luck with my download ... 12% done, about 10 hours remaining. My connection isn't usually slow. Oh well, I can wait another day. Perhaps it's just a sign of the initial popularity of the download!
I look forward to trying out Mageia. Mandriva has been my distro for a number of years now, and now I hope to be able to make an informed decision about where the fork will take me. I don't want parallel distros, and I'm not a distro-hopper: a one-distro man!

It won't be a big problem, making the right decision, after you have experienced the magic of Mageia.
And, of course we are always here to support in times of need.

I was really impressed with the alpha and beta, and have high expectations from stable.
I just want to point out that I have been keeping an eye on Mageia on Distrowatch. When the RC came out it was at 43, now it's climbed to 29!(Over the last 6 months). But if you look at the last 7 days it's number 8!

Of course always personal taste, but just a hint.

I've been waiting for this for ages
Going to see if it will install on my net book tonight but so far no issues with my desktop, very smooth installation, not been this impressed since I first installed Mandrake back in the day
