[SOLVED] Is Mageia LSB Compliant

I know Magiea is indirectly decendend from Red Hat and uses the .rpm package format. But is Mageia currently LSB (Linux Standards Base) compliant. I realize its not a big issue, but I would like to see more standards and compatiblity across distros and LSB seems like a good place to start. So I am looking for LSB compliant distros.

Yes, since the beginning. You just need to install the relevant support package, called lsb.
lsb-release should even be installed by default ...

Good deal. That is good to know. I'm glad that Mageia is LSB compliant. Mageia is quite different than the Debian distros I am used to. So I am trying to make sure my reasons for switching are sound if thats what I want to do. Although LSB is not required, it sure seems like it could be benificial when installing 3rd party software. Even as seldom as that is.
