There are many more, today Google Alerts showed 7 or 8 English sites with news about Alpha3. In German there are some more as well. Same as with Alpha 1 and 2.

Wobo,

I searched and I found other news sites reproducing news from Softpedia, Distrowatch and Phoenix.

I do not know if these links should be added in the Mageia Wiki "Press" :

Yes, most of them are "re-tweets". I would not expect any real reviews before Beta or RC.

I don't wish to rain on anyones parade but should Mageia 2 be stable first?.

https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=7633#c11

The major bug reported via the link above was first sent on 2012-09-30 and it's caused my machine to crash too many times already .Shouldn't the focus be on fixing this first?.

Un-install draksnapshot and use an alternative backup program. There are several available in the repositories.

Sorry, but Mageia 2 is stable. I've been using it for a few months now, and have no issues but one (which an update will, I'm hoping, fix; there have been no kde updates in ages, but I'm hoping for some at some point). I know of the draksnapshot bug, but I also know that draksnapshot was never stable (at least to my knowledge) on Mandriva, either; at least I never found it so. I don't use it, and won't. I thought this was common knowledge? It's not Mageia - they "inherited" it as it was at the time, which was not stable in and of itself.

I also would not judge a distro "unstable" due to one whole (not so necessary) package; it would have to be quite a few for me.
I'd rather be a free person who fears terrorists, than be a "safe" person who fears the government.
