The linked mailing list thread offers some solutions, disabling hardware acceleration is the one which is easiest to do,
but not the most appropriate, as many HD videos will stutter or consume considerable amounts of cpu time.

Until we have news the only way to use updated flash on Linux is through the Chrome!
