Mageia official docker images now available

Postby doktor5000 » Oct 8th, '14, 21:43

Posting on behalf of Juancho, who made this possible due to his hard work:

Hi,

After some weeks working with the docker team I managed to add mageia as an official supported docker image (the ones with the blue whale icon) :)

You can find mageia 3, 4 and (outdated) cauldron images at the docker hub[1], and the scripts and files needed to create the images at github[2]. If someone is interested I posted more details about how to use these images and the potential uses I see inside mageia in my blog[3].

If someone has any comments/suggestions please let me know.

Cauldron is not for the faint of heart!
Caution: Hot, bubbling magic inside. May explode or cook your kittens!

Mageia 3 image was dropped as now is EOL, and 4 has been updated to include latest updates.
