This really is excellent, in the sense that it shows week points, namely the problem the author had with setting the repositories. It is exactly like he described, there is no hint at what the system is doing and I can imagine a not-so-patient user with a very slow connection hitting a slow mirror may behave just like the author - assuming something is wrong and hit the cancel button.

Another thing catched my eye while reading: the points which received the main "praise" were things which Mageia had ported unchanged (except for cleaning) from Mandriva: the installer and the control center tool collection. Certainly this is ok with me, but it also reminds us that we will have to find our own "assets" in the future.

i love mageia and im here to stay..no more mandriva =]..thank you, for a solid release with mageia 1. now all we need is bigger repos..i can't wait to see this distro grow.
