From february i`m sitting in a chair and drowing the calendar in the wating of beta :)
So when the miracle will come?

The date of beta1 is today 5 april according to the roadmap.
Anyone knows anything?

The appearance will be this afternoon / early in the evening (as annonced)

Yes, and then it will take some time until the mirrors have it.

Nice to see that these kinds of threads have been ported from Mandriva, too! :)

Given the openness of the development process, I suppose, this sort of thread is inevitable. (You can find similar comments about almost all open source projects.) I would be happy for the release to be a few days late, if that were necessary in order to get it right.

Yes, those mile markers, although existing in as close to sync as possible with the dates announced for the respective releases, are still just guidelines, and not hard targets.

Although we are hoping to meet the 01 June date for the release of stable, even that, as you suggest, is best left to whether our release is indeed ready, as opposed to meeting an arbitrary date simply for the sake of doing so.

Yea, that leaves me out of all the fun. You can't have a rolling release on a 28.8 dialup connection... :cry:
