Caused by numerous discussions in the forum and an open bug report (1) the council put this issue on the agenda of his yesterday's meeting (2). The council officially decided to cancel the time limitation for editing a user's own post (in short: you can edit your own post if necessary, no matter how old the post is). The decision was based on a poll between the participating members of the council, the result of this poll was unanimous in favor of this decision.
