Anne Nicolas announced the new planning for Mageia 2 on the Mageia-blog just yesterday:

Due to release-dates for major products like Gnome and KDE, Mageia will postpone their second release.

Wise decision.

Good to see a realistic roadmap. I'm really like Mageia 1 and with a proper timeframe for development, Mageia 2 should be just as good.

Take whatever time you need, i'm happy with 1, i can wait
