Yes, and? Mageia has also a different name than Debian or Fedora.

Actually all those menus are using the same spec as basis: http://standards.freedesktop.org/menu-spec/latest/
Only difference in Mageia is the More submenu, otherwise menus are nearly the same.

But that doesn't have anything to do with Whisker Menu, or whatever menu application you're using.

Here is Xfce4 with the Whisker menu and personalized start button. I would also like to point out the excellent Valhallian translation..(but I am to modest to say who did it).

Xfce4 works fine with kwin instead of Xfwm4 too. That way we can still present those fancy snapshots that make all the Windows users want to turn to Linux
