Better qt based IDE selection e.g Ninja-IDE

Postby theAmerican » Oct 4th, '13, 07:28

I know we have Eric and that is a great IDE but we still have Eric4 and Eric5 is Python3 ready . Same problem with Monkey-Studio ...outdated. Ninja IDE is really great... I mean I am positive it'd be an awesome addition to our distro . I hade to install a two year old Mandriva vers. from rpm seek . Now I now I can point the interpreter on various IDE's to Python3 ... but still thats a hack because you still dont get certain optimizations.

thanz for time and consideration

Please report that as a package request, after searching if it hasn't been reported yet already: https://wiki.mageia.org/en/How_to_repor ... ge_request

But please bear in mind that our current package selection is nowhere near 100% maintained, so it wouldn't be a good idea to add more in the mix.
Better a smaller selection of working packages, then a huge selection of crap that is buggy as hell.

If you want to contribute, you might want to think about maintaining it yourself: https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Becoming_a_Mageia_Packager
