[SOLVED] Add more Fcitx packages, Please!
Posted: Aug 9th, '13, 18:11Hi, I come from China. And a good input method framework is the most important thing for all CJK people!
Ibus is ok, but fcitx is more than good. At least, most Chinese linuxer use fcitx instead of ibus. Only us asian use it, so only we know which is better.
Mageia is a perfect distribution, otherwise i won't moved from opensuse which i used more than a year. However, Mageia is quite not popular in China. Poor inptut is one main reason. We even could not input CJK in Mageia3 KDE, because lack of fcitx-qt4. Here is Fcitx source website http://download.fcitx-im.org/ Mageia lack of most fcitx's official packages. So CJK people can't config Fcitx, can't input with they favourite free input method such as fcitx-rime & fcitx-sunpinyin. This keep many CJK people away from Mageia.
So, add more Fcitx packages, Please! Help us, Help Mageia !
