If you're really fast, you can open a package request in our Bugzilla

and ask to have it packaged for Mageia 1. Usually, package requests are only done for Cauldron, but this package was in Mandriva 2010.2 (kuickshow-0.9.2-0.1060448.3mdv2010.1), so according to our policy it is valid to let it go in Mageia 1/updates, which would mean it would go in Mageia2/updates, too.

Is kuickshow still supported upstream, btw, I have the impression it isn't. If it isn't it'll be harder to find someone willing to package it.

He could upload his pictures to services like photobucket.
They keep pictures for a considerable amount of time, over years.

BTW, "oui cestcela" filed a package request for kuickshow https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6281 . Is that you? if not, please add a comment, the more people comment they would like to have see the package in Mageia, the more chance someone will package it

Now I'm a n00b at understanding pictures. Can you please explain what you're saying with them? What does the first one mean, what the second and so on? To be honest, I don't have a clue

Login on https://identity.mageia.org/ and look at what value the cn attribute has. You'll see the value is oui cestcela. You can change it to another value.
The link to the FAQ doesn't work, btw, but you can find the help for that page here https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Mageia.org_user_account

It'll take some time, at most a day, then the change will be effective in Bugzilla, too.

Kuickshow totally pwns the whole bunch of gnu/linux image viewers .

mageia5_x64 just installed. so easy. so fast. it's official: GNU+Linoox is now worse than windowz!
and all the stuff i'm using is here from the install-disc: kdenlive, audacity, ffmpeg, gimp, vlc, nvidia driver, net connection.
