Firefox on wayland

It would be very nice to flag Firefox so it could run default on wayland instead of xwayland on a wayland session.
That is how it is on OpenSuSE, Fedora, Gentoo, ALTLinux, Rosa Linux, OpenMandriva...

Yeah, what is going on with this? Firefox used to run fine on Wayland but it's now disabled?

It is not 'disabled', but on wayland mageia's firefox is using xwayland.
Maybe it could become default on wayland for M9??

Here is how OpenMandriva solved it:

Yeah that is what I meant. Firefox used to run fine on Wayland but now it doesn't. Wayland somehow got disabled. It'll propbably come back some day.

This is the user forum. If you want a new feature you need to raise a bug report with a enhancement request.

It does say "ideas and suggestions" in this section no?? Anyway, so is it confirmed that Firefox does not currently got support for Wayland?

Yes this is the place within this user forum to discuss this.
And it is often good to ask and discuss here, like you have.
However for it to be seen by packagers and developers, it must be entered in our bugzilla.
