Update kodi-pvr-iptvsimple for Kodi 19 [SOLVED]

Dear fellow developers of mageia, First of all: You are doing a great job. For my opinion, as a linux rookie, your distribution is the first pick for me, because I can choose a free open source version (except the kernel), the usability for a non-linux-pro is awesome (especially installing new packages and updates) and I can get almost everything on software for your distribution. Thank you for that!
One thing I really regret: I cant use Kodi 19 for watching TV since the kodi-pvr-iptv simple package is for Kodi 18. Could someone please update that? I tried to install non-mageia kodi-pvr-iptvsimple packages as a newer version, even the one for cauldron, but couldnt because of too much dependencies who didnt work. Please help! Thank you very much!
Or does anyone has another idea?

Welcome, BIKO84 :)
You may like to present yourself in this thread: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=15

In cases like this ask for update of that package.
I did that now for you here: https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=28955

There are also other ways to install programs. I see kodi is available as flatpak: https://www.flathub.org/apps/details/tv.kodi.Kodi
If you would like to try that, first install flatpak on Mageia, see https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Ways_to_inst ... ms#Flatpak

Now there is already a package for you to try, in the core/updates_testing repo!
It would be great if you try it out, register on bugzilla, and feedback in that bug I linked.
