[SOLVED] Supporting Skype?

Postby nStuff » Oct 26th, '11, 17:10

Do you think that y'all could make Mageia 2 support Skype; I'm not interested in an alternative to it, I want the real thing.

What do you mean by supporting Skype?

We already have the get-skype package (currently still in nonfree_backports_testing, but it works perfectly)
to ease installation of Skype for Mageia 1.

Sorry, I wasn't aware of that, and since I couldn't find it when I searched for "Skype" I assumed that it wasn't supported. Thanks for letting me know, though.

There is a whole thread for Skype: viewtopic.php?f=15&t=65
also mentioning this package and also a MAQeia for Skype: viewtopic.php?f=36&t=1121

Bot can be easily found via the forum search function ;)

 I searched for Skype but I just got a bunch of posts about where to find an alternative to it. I'll look harder next time I post something, though.

But yeah, like, I didn't realize that there was more than one page of results; I'm kind of new 'round here as you can probably tell.
