CUPS on the install DVD

Just a thought... I believe it would be a good idea in future versions to include CUPS and associated printing software on the install DVD. That wouldn't increase the DVD's size by much (relatively), but it would be enormously useful to dialup users, and anyone else who needed printing support out of the box.

CUPS is on the install DVD, maybe you just missed to select it or the relvant group during custom package selection?
ftp://ftp-stud.hs-esslingen.de/pub/Mirr ... 64-DVD.idx f.ex. and search for cups

Indeed it is... Strange. It didn't show up anywhere in the manual package selection page.

If you try again,and fin that it's still missing (you can expand the list to show all packages in custom selection, and even search for packages IIRC) then please report this as a bug https://wiki.mageia.org/en/How_to_report_a_bug_properly via the component "'Release (media or process)"
