Suggestion / package request: inxi - system info script

Postby viking60 » Jun 9th, '12, 17:03

inxi is a system info script that only has to go in /bin/setup.
You can start using it right now by doing a (as root)
Code: Select all
cd /usr/bin && wget -Nc smxi.org/inxi && chmod +x inxi

It would be very nice to have it as one of the MCC tools. It would be of great help for the "supporters".

Well, the report itself is OK, but are you sure you posted it to the right bugtracker? ;)

Well, you posted this in a Mageia forum, and for Mageia it's not resolved. Depends now on you if you want it in Mageia or not.

Oh the power!
It depends on me if Mageia gets inxi or not!
Lemme see.....
Näh I don't want it. :mrgreen:
If you or anybody else should want it you could maybe just get the rpm from the Mandriva guys? I am sure Per Øvind vil be able to help you.

Well, personally i don't want or need and and it's easily installable, as can be seen in your original post.
FWIW, also i don't think i really need Per's help for something simple like that (no offense!) ;)
