Does Mageia support my sound device?

hey helpful guys..............

i am very new in megia linux distro . I am ubuntu user but i wanted to quit it . so i installed cruchbang linux latest version which is based on debian . but after installtion it my audio driver did not work (my pc is ok) it means audio driver is not available for my
motherboard . so i am confuse about megia linux distro. WILL THIS DISRO SUPPORT MY ALL DRIVER (SPECIALY AUDIO DRIVER) ?????

MY PC CONFIGURATION ARE :

MOTHEBOARD : GIGABYTE G-41 COMBO

PROCESSORE : DUAL CORE 2.80 GHz. speed

RAM : 3 GB

HARD DISK : 500 GB :oops: :oops:

according to the board specs it uses a VIA VT1708S codec

alsa does support this chipset, so its unlikly as you say that
crunchbag does not support your sound card and more likly you dont know how to
configure it.

run lspci and lsmod under crunchbag, and report it back here

that should help

it could simply be that you have the hdmi out of the X4500 graphics and the via sound out
and that you are not configuring your sound to come out of the right device.

or it could be something else ive not thought of yet

for example this link here shows someone having an issue
where on each boot crunchbag is swinging between hdmi and the via chipset on each reboot
