Hey guys,
yesterday I installed Mageia because my Kubuntu 12.3 finaly crashed.
Until now everything has worked fine, but now i have a problem with the sound.
I installed MiXXX, Firefox, Flash, and Minecraft (yes seriusly :D ).
Now I have the problem that if I just start MiXXX it does all of its work fine, but if I start Firefox and go to Youtube to watch a video, i get no sound, not from YT aswell as from Mixx eigther.
Same problem if playing Minecraft.
Does someone knows a solution for this problem?
Alsamixer I already checked, aswell as the other possebilities to change some properties of the sound system.

Would be great if anybody could help me out.

Hey,
thank you for your reply.
I haven't any of these codecs installed, so i went on to do it but i couldn't find faad2 and x264 in the software manager.
Any idea why or where i can get it?

You're probably missing tainted repos. Check https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Software_management or maybe https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Install_and_ ... r_beginner

Apart from that, as sound plays, but not simultaneously with multiple programs together, codecs are only a minor issue.
But you don't provide information what you have actually done via alsamixer, or which properties of the sound system you have changed.
