i am really sorry for the complete off-topic ( in a way)... but stilll....
i have installed Mageia two weeks ago and its one of the best Linux Distros out there !!!
I managed to configure and install everything on it.....only not the "Ipod Touch 1G 16gb"

I installed "gtkpod" from the software manager.... all went okay untill i pluged my ipod in. nothing happend. tried some more... nothing.
I also tried to make some DIY configuration, and turned out the Mageia recognises my Ipod as a digital camera

i am really sorry, but there isnt a "Usb connections" topic here, so this the closest i could get.

Could someone help me here ???

P.S i think the problem is with the libraries ???? any guess???
