ASUSN70SV Sound problems..

I have an ASUSN70SV Laptop and Installed Mageia 2. It reports my Sound Chip as HDA SiS966. I also have a Logitech USB Headset plugged in. Now, I can configure the USB Headset to produce sound in the control center and clicking test.. I had to configure VLC and it audio Output to an ALSA Audio and then my Logitech USB showed up, I was then able to watch Video downloaded or played from my internal DVD. On the other hand, when I launch Firefox or Google Chrome, I have no sound playback on the video files listed on webpages. I have tried HULU, Comcast.Net, Yahoo.Com all to no avail. Any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
