Selecting the "ffado" package results in the following ffado exectutables appearing in /usr/bin:

/usr/bin/ffado-bridgeco-downloader*  /usr/bin/ffado-fireworks-downloader*  /usr/bin/ffado-test-isoxmit*
/usr/bin/ffado-dbus-server*          /usr/bin/ffado-test*                  /usr/bin/ffado-test-streaming*
/usr/bin/ffado-diag*                 /usr/bin/ffado-test-isorecv*


A menu option is also added under "Sound & Video" called "Ffado Mixer" which uses the command "ffado-mixer".
However, this command is not in /usr/bin or anywhere else on the path.

What am I missing please?

Nothing, seems no package provides that. Please file a bug report https://wiki.mageia.org/en/How_to_report_a_bug_properly
