For what it's worth, you can use both burning programs under every desktop environment ...

I am runnung KDE (my signature has the rest). What I am trying to do is create a cd to play on my car cd player, using a library in Clementine. These songs are in MP3 so I need to convert them to what? is it .wav? I have already started creating coasters.
I am open to any suggestions.

K3B will burn [convert] to audio cd format, reasonable interface to make a [playlist
Brasero will open up playlists you've saved from Clem & convert
I haven't used K3B enough to know all the features, but it does more things [than brasero]
personally I'm trying to use more of the native KDE stuff, since I've switched from gnome

Well, in k3b you select "New Audio CD project" and then only select the music files which you want in there and hit burn, k3b will convert them if necessary.

Sorry I have not replied so early, Thank you for all your help. I have been rebuilding a Vista machine for a friend and it was more important than my problem (boy its a poor program). I was hoping I could take the library fron Clementine straight into the burn process no such luck, thats ok, I have got it burned now. Thanks Roy
