I'm not sure if this will solve your problem, but as far as I know, there are two things you can try.
1) Make sure that the gstreamer-plugins are installed.
Launch MCC by clicking on the Application Launcher Menu (icon) -> Tools -> System Tools -> Mageia Control Center. Go to Software Management, then to Configure media sources... Ensure that the Tainted Release and Tainted Updates sources are enabled. (Warning: check your local patent and/or copyright laws before doing so.) Click the OK button, then go to Install & Remove Software. In the search box, search for "gstreamer-plugins" and ensure they are installed.
Did that solve the problem?
2) If #1 doesn't work, you may need to try kpackagekit.
If KPackageKit is installed, you'll find it under Tools -> System Tools. If it is not installed, go into Install & Remove Software, search for it, and install it. Once you launch KPackageKit, click the Multimedia icon, and filter the list by putting "gstreamer" in the "Find by name" box, you'll find a whole slew of multimedia plugins for gstreamer.
