Unable to connect to PulseAudio, sound doesn't work

Postby hmslima » Dec 31st, '16, 19:19

After updates the pulseaudio doesn't work, I even completely reinstalled the system (without updating it, just adding some programs I really need) and pulse audio still doesn't work. So I've updated my system once I will be without audio anyway. I am using updated Mageia 5.1 64 bits, the Desktop Environment is LXDE.

The sound worked in the first time I turn on the system, but since the second time it didn't work

Any program that uses audio say that the occurred a fail in the connection, the connection was refused.

When I try to open alsamixer in terminal I receive the following message:
Code: Select all
ALSA lib pulse.c:243:(pulse_connect) PulseAudio: Unable to connect: Conexão recusada

cannot open mixer: Conexão recusada

coneção recusada = refused connection

The volume control of PulseAudio doesn't open but returns the following error message:
Code: Select all
Fatal Error: Unable to connect to PulseAudio: OK

I don't believe it is necessary, but here is the result of lspci
Code: Select all

You ran all of those commands as regular user or as root?

Please also show the output as regular user of
Code: Select all
ps auxwww|grep -v grep|grep -iE "dbus|pulse"
pulseaudio -vvvvv
