I installed Skype via the package installer. I'm using Mageia 5 and LXDE on a Panasonic Toughbook CF-51. Laptop doesn't have a built in Microphone, so I tried a headphone/Microphone plug in but the microphone doesn't work. I'm using PluseAudio and I checked the settings and it stats that there isn't a microphone plugged in.
Speakers work and if I plug in headphones they also work.

Fixed the problem. The Y connector on the headphone/Mic headset wasn't plugged in all the way.
