can apps be added to the KDE system notification list

Is it possible to add applications to the list in the the system notification of the kde desktop

I would like to be able to add sound events to the opening and closing of additional applications
I have customized as much as I can from the notification module.

mageia1 fully updated, kde desktop, 64 bit os
