Hi,
From CLI am trying to ping6 ipv6.domain.com but get "connect: Network is unreachable". Also typing in a ipv6 url fails in Firefox and Opera. However, loading up windoze IE using virtualbox the ipv6 urls work perfectly!
Any thoughts?

Does one of your network interfaces have an IPv6 adress?
Can you check something like
http://test-ipv6.com/

Hi,
Using firefox /Opera,
http://test-ipv6.com/ says I don't have a ipv6 address and also I can't access any ipv6 website. But using windoze 7 in a virtualbox and running the test it says I do have an ipv6 address and can visit ipv6 IPs ( but not ipv6 names). It seems I can visit ipv6 IPs because windoze 7 or something in the virtualbox uses " Teredo" a type of ipv4 /ipv6 gateway which doesn't get picked up just using Mageia with any browser. I realise I won't be able to type in a browser (for example) ipv6.google.com only its actual ipv6 address. This is OK but I would rather be able to do this from a browser in Mageia instead of loading up windoze in virtualbox.

You need to configure your network interface with an IPv6 adress under linux, check with your ISP for more details on your IPv6 connectivity.
For Teredo under linux, if you really want to use that, you can check
