b43-tools?

While looking for b43 packages in Mageia 3, I stumbled across a "b43-tools" package. Does anybody know what it is and if I need it for anything? Descriptions are hard to find.

Open MCC -> Hardware -> Browse and configure hardware - it should install the packages you need.
Stand for something, or you will fall for nothing.
