while in windows 7 i used to connect using connectify or adhoc or virtual router to share my pc internet connection to android pone using wifi

but i dont understand how to share my pc internet connection in mageia 2 through wifi?. sometimes called as reverse tethering .....

i tried using seting through network n internet configuration- wireless-eth1:broadcom conf BCM4313 802.11b/g/n wireless lan controller-then selecting operting mode -auto, netwrk name-xxx, encryption mode -wpa/open etc,n encrption key-then automatic ip,,,,-then get dns serverfrm dhcp-then connectn protoco; n then starting network.........


then it says problm ocured during network connectivity test by invalid ntwrk /or modem or router n relunch configuration to verify it......


here to mention abot using android mobile micromax a110 canvas 2

You should try connecting to standard wireless network first in order to know if your wireless works fine on your Mageia.

Once you've done this test successfully, you can then try configuring your computer for hadoc connection.
Which i can't help at the moment.
