Connecting to PPTP VPN

I've been wondering what the best way to connect to a PPTP VPN is under mageia.
When I search for PPTP in the package manager, I basically find the pptp-linux cli application or a module to use with the kde version of network-manager.

So, basically, that means either dropping mageia's draknetcenter to manage my connection, or using a purely cli application.
I am king of loath of turning to the former (network-manager isn't quite as integrated into mageia, especially since KDE isn't my environment), and the later is a bit of a pain to set up and use; are there any other possibilities?

Sorry, don't know for the client side, but seems you would need something like http://pptpclient.sourceforge.net/

Yes, there is. Just install networkmanager, reconfigure the interface in question via mageia control center
-> Network & Internet -> Set up a new network interface (LAN, ISDN, ADSL, ...) and in the last step just make sure that
"Allow interface to be controlled by Network Manager" is enabled. (which is the default for new interfaces)

Then you can use networkmanager.
