Openvpn network manager tries to connect to 127.0.0.1

I tried to setup a client openvpn connection with network manager, by importing the ovpn file with Gnome.

The import goes OK, but the vpn doesn' seem to start. It seems from the logs that it tries to connect to the right port but the wrong address (localhost):

Code: Select all
May  4 09:11:20 hostname nm-openvpn[48325]: UDP link remote: [AF_INET]127.0.0.1:443

So I tried starting openvpn manually and it works, this is the matching log line:

Code: Select all
May  4 09:02:46 hostame openvpn[45023]: UDP link remote: [AF_INET]PUBLIC_IP_ADDRESS:443

I searched into this forum and into bugs.mageia.org but I don't see anything useful, maybe I'm just missing something that I should be able to spot easier.

Note that into the configuration dialog, the gateway address is correct and visibile, and the manual setup uses the same file (renamed to .conf).
