Hello everybody, just installed mageia, i was MAndriva user, and used the inline command to migrate to mageia.
I'm posting here, maybe it's newbie but weird... My Ktorrent isn't getting High download speed... i mean... on mandriva i could easily get 600 kb/s+ downloading one file... but here on magia i only get the 200kb/s on peaks and then return to lows 90 kb/s :S i got a enabled port on router, and if i reboot system and log on w7 using utorrent in 30seconds i get 400 kb/s+ downloading the same file... :s maybe you can give me some tips how to configure correctly Ktorrent? thanks in advance.

Edit: i changed the ports on program and on router, and enabled on firewall.. speed gets higher but the connection between me and other people still seems to do not be very stable cause u got some lows on speed i would be gratefull for some lights

You need to correctly forward ports in your router and in the Mageia firewall.
For most bittorrent trackers, additionally to the port which is set in Ktorrent,
which needs to be forwarded for TCP and UDP, you should forward the following ports:

6881-6889 TCP/UDP
6969 TCP/UDP

BTW: How did you check that your ports are correctly forwarded?

i tryed it using some sites i found on google like canyouseeme org ... etc a question. while configuring ports on router it i got to input "origin ports" and "destiny ports" which ones i got to put? i should put any on origiin and the ports i want on destiny or ?? i did put the ports on origin and on destiny
