Its look like openVPN is different than openmandriva or other distribution how did you set up with configure files from asus routers?

There is a section for VPN in the Mageia control center under network and internet. I suggest you have a look into that first and explain in detail if there are any issues with setting it up.

Here is different with openmandriva\ubuntu\opensuse and mageia so its loot different.
Not possible to add VPN files from networks selection.

If you want to use the same network configuration tool as in your screenshot you would have to switch to networkmanager.
