wifi problem - unable to find network interface

Postby osito11 » Oct 1st, '11, 01:39

I have a intel pro 4965agn. When I click on wi-fi in the network center I get this message,

Unable to find network interface for selected device (using iwlagn driver).

I'm not sure, but it might be the wrong driver. Shouldn't it be iwlwifi? I see I have a mess of these installed (wired connection works fine). Not sure how to change drivers, or maybe something else is wrong.
Thanks for any help.

Do you have the firmwares installed for it? Please post the output of
Code: Select all
rpm -qa | grep iwl

Also iwlagn seems to be the correct driver for the older Intel chipsets.
