Force connection to Android via kdeconnect

Postby mackowiakp » Aug 25th, '17, 19:37

I use kdeconnect tool for sending SMS from desktop. But the problem is that takes long time to connect by itself Android phone with PC. Is any possibility to trigger/force connection between units from CLI of my PC ?

What does a "long time" mean in particular ?

And yes, you can pair manually via kdeconnect-cli --pair

15-20 min. Android device (Samsung NOTE4) has Kdeconnect running in background.

I try to pair it manually, but the result is below

Code: Select all
[maciek@Piotr ~]$ kdeconnect-cli -d 8512ac25443ce6d1 --pair
waiting for device...
