Restart ethernet without reboot?

Restart ethernet without reboot?

Postby tarazed » Sep 25th, '11, 06:08

Another newbie question:

Every now and again my Buffalo wireless router falls over and has to
be power-cycled to bring it back. This results in the loss of the
ethernet connection which cannot be restored by running drakconnect.
Is there a way to bring back ethernet without rebooting? I
tried a network restart a few times, to no avail.
