Basic Firewall Settings [SOLVED]

Basic Firewall Settings [SOLVED]

Postby Garthhh » Feb 2nd, '16, 21:49

I turned off the firewall through MCC without noting which boxes were checked.
I would like to turn a basic firewall back on
I can find references to mageia coming with a basic firewall enabled, but nothing specific as what that means
which boxes should I check?

thanks Germ [& Dok ]

There is also a very good GUI to enable the default through
MCC>Security>Configure System Security, Permissions and Audit
Firewall>Configure
uncheck Everything (no firewall), check SSH server, click ok, there will be a couple of other pop-ups to OK which are self explanatory
