Use draknetcenter => advanced settings => disable IPv6.

ERRATA

I still have a problem that rpc.daemon, cupsd, openvpn server and maybe others wants to initiate own IPv6 config.
How can I disable IPv^6 initialization for that daemons?

ERRATA what?

Please show some logs for that, and the relevant parts of the configs for those services. Most daemons try to listen on all interfaces, hence also ::1
What do you want to achieve by disabling that, and what problems do you have in particular? See also https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/IPv6#Disable_IPv6 for some related information.

we do this on redhat at work, and it can cause some issues.

for example local autofs loopbacks where the name localhost:/home/peter are used.

while this is not documented way of using loopback its worked for years until now.

without the entries in /etc/hosts for ipv6 the automounter can hang for upto a min, this is due to extra new code in
the nfsv4 that deals with ipv6.

a workaround is to add to /etc/nfsmount.conf

[ Server "localhost" ]
Defaultvers=3

at the bottom.

however this is an example of the kind of problem, as each of the services is reworked to include ipv6 between redhat 6 ->-> timeline to fedora 21/mageia 5
where this can bite you, which is what I think Doktor is getting at.

so unless there is a realy good reason, i would avoid it, as otherwise almost every service is going to have unpredictable issues.

OT: At work I also though I had an issue with some unix box, and somehow thought "why not disable IPv6 altogether as we don't need/use that".
After the interface was removed, no more network connection to the box. Some time afterwards L3 development support told me that
all sockets are internally using IPv6, hence you should also never remove the IPv6 loopback entry from /etc/hosts, even if you don't use IPv6 at all.

So unless there's a real reason to disable it, and unless you have proper planning (applications like e.g. firefox will also try to be smart and try IPv6 lookups in parallel) then just leave it be.
