Wifi fails to connect

Wifi fails to connect

Postby ninjaondemand » Feb 19th, '14, 01:01

I reset my Cisco E1200 series router and now I cannot connect to it (After a time, the "connecting..." screen changes into a "connection failed" screen.) I am using a Qualcomm Atheros AR9285 Wireless Network Adapter (wlan0) and KDE4. I am sure I have the correct password.

Hmm, if you had no problems before resetting it, everything should work fine now, too.
Why did you reset it?

I've been told that some Atheros WLAN adapters refuse to work if the Wireless regulatory domain is set to something else than "US" You can check the setting after clicking on the "Advanced" button in the Network Center
