Can only connect to NON-encrypted networks with a reboot

Can only connect to NON-encrypted networks with a reboot

Postby DiBosco » Oct 21st, '13, 20:15

With Mageia 3 these days I'm having this really weird thing where if a wifi network is not encrypted the only way to connect to it is to reboot.

Anyone seen this or have any thoughts on how to circumnavigate this whole reboot thang?!

Ta. :)

Do you use networkmanager or net_applet?

Code: Select all
ps -ef | grep -ie net

will show you.

Theres another thread about a similar issue although that's not reproducible here: viewtopic.php?f=25&t=4460

I've not got netowrk manager installed, so it's not that!
