can't select network profile at boot

can't select network profile at boot

Postby Trio3b » Sep 29th, '13, 20:31

I have several network profiles and I know I can activate each one via MCC but during boot, MGA2 KDE selects the last entry as default.

(1) library (2) home (3) coffee shop*

If I press anything 1,2 or 3 or use arrows or anything, boot freezes at text ( like a verbose login) with just the option again and have to ctrl+alt+delet to restart.

No matter what I do coffee shop* is selected and I don't see a place in MCC "manage diff network profiles" to set default, only:
activate new delete quit

I have to reconfigure the coffeshop profile in netapp to connect when I am home. I know I can activate home from within MCC but I just want to select "home" at boot time.

Thanks

While i dont know what you are doing to get these problems , each location i visit
i just add an authentication for.
when i revisit it automatic selects the right profile, i dont
need to choose it.

I have loads in my config , for just about every friends house or work , or home.

I also use kde, mga2, and net_applet
