WNA3100 N300 Wireless USB Adapter

Hello Users

I am very new to Linux and am still trying to understand how everything works. I am trying to use my WNA3100 N300 Wireless USB Adapter on an older Dell Desktop. I cannot seem to figure out how to get it to connect. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I also cannot get this Telepathy Instant Messenger to work either. My first time using the mageia distro.
