You may need to update your urpmi database.

I am trying to set up a printer (samsung clp-325) and received this error using the Mageia Control Center.
I am very new to Linux any help much appreciated.

I removed the them as described and received this error when I tried to add a new set:

Unable to add medium, errors reported:

...retrieving failed: rsync failed: exited with 10
unable to access the distribution medium (no media.cfg file found)

Medium: distrib ()

I have received notification that updates are ready for the system, when I try to install them I get this error:

I think you should set your urpmi source by hand. While mirrorlist chooses faster mirrors for you, some mirrors fail to sync. I' m using Russian mirrors (yandex.ru) and they' re pretty well syncing. Choose another mirror either from "Configure Media Sources..." section of MCC, selecting File > Add specific mirror. See: http://doc.mageia.org/mcc/4/en/content/ ... tml#d4e265

Thanks I tried this but still received this error

Medium: distrib (ftp://mirror.yandex.ru/mageia/distrib/4/i586)

I seem to be missing media.cfg file?

I tried removing the repositories again and this time everything worked fine.
Printer now installed and working
