HP Deskjet 2512 Printer Won't Print

Recently installed an HP Deskjet 2512 Printer that supposedly prints, scans, and copies. It prints fine in Ubuntu 12.04 and Win 7. It won't print in Mageia 2, Mint 13 KDE, nor Scientific Linux 6. It shows as installed in all of the distros but won't print except as noted above. I've tried many of the suggestions listed in this forum but none have worked. Any help is appreciated.
