Epson Stylus SX405 all in one printer

Hello,
I can't scan with my epson stylus sx405. The scanner is not detected automatically and this all in one printer is not listed to be added manually. I am using mageia-2 as O.S.
Please advise

all drivers programs for scanner of Epson are with i486 architecture. I do have an i586 architecture.
Is there a driver for Epson SX 405 available for Mageia2 with i586 architecture and printer conncted by USB?

i586 is backwards compatible, so you can also use i486 programs.
